Carol, I just wanted you to know that your Maxwell was joined by my Sneakers today. It has helped me to read other's tribute pages and know that I am not alone in my grief. Thank you for your love for Max and Sara. I leave a bowl of food so that Max and Sneakers can eat dinner together tonight. I know Sneakers is hungry, he hasn't eaten in 3 or 4 days, and that's what he used to live for! You mention that Max was a big boy, so I assume he like his noms too! Blessings to you and your current furbabies, may you have many long years to enjoy them.

My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 6 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

Carol, what a moving tribute. I am so very sorry that Maxwell had to leave to cross the bridge. They are not lost, just waiting for us. One of my best friends and companion of 16 years, Willy, went to the bridge in January. My tears still flow when I think of him. I know though, that he and Willy are probably playing in the meadows, running and jumping now. I know Willy loved the sunshine and I hope that he does too. I truly believe that God would not have made a Heaven without our beloved companions there to meet us. I have left an extra angel to look over Maxwell, as they are our special angels watching over us. I hope that your pain begins to turn to peace that fills your heart with nothing but wonderful memories. They make the days become a little less heartbreaking knowing that their hearts are always with ours. God Bless You until we all meet again. I would love for you to visit Willy at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/WILLY010/Resident.HTM

Maxwell - You are missed very much, and you have left your family with a lot of love for you! Send them some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Carol know that you have met up with Sara and that God has appointed the both of you to be her guardian, protectors to watch over her until she comes to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. To Carol - I send my deepest regrets to you over the loss of Maxwell. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

Dear Carol, it's sad when our little soulmates grow old and leave us for the rainbow meadow but we know that they go to a beautiful place. And yes, I understand what it's like to lose the joy of our lives. Both of my furkitties went to the rainbow meadow two weeks apart after many years of having them in my life. I am sure that my Inky and Bubba Lou have become good friends with Maxwell and Sara, and they are all playing like kittens in heaven's sunshine. We will see our little departed ones at the bridge someday. May sweet memories of Maxwell heal your broken heart and may God bless you with comfort and peace.

I wanted to send my sympathy at the loss of Maxwell and also leave a little gift. He sounds like such a wonderful companion, actually not a companion but an extension of you. I just lost my Sarah and I think that they are all in our lives to teach us something. For me it was love. Sending you a (((hug)))

Hello Carol, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Maxwell. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on there memory and begin to celebrate there life. Please take comfort in knowing that one day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander in July 2008 & have attached his link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm

How rare a gift! Aliving, greathing gift of joy. How can a living soul that is so small can can't talk too well make themselves so perfectly understood and take over your life?

Hello, handsome Maxwell, welcome to the sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mommy loves and misses you so...she made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words about you. We asked our Pressy to help Sara welcome you and be a playmate to chase sunbeams and rainbows and share kitty love headbumps. She'll help show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mommy hears your sweet meows and purrs and feels a soft touch of your kitty paw in gentle breezes. You're now another guardian star shining brightly until she comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask she not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're curled up beside your pawprints in her heart forever. Play meadow games with furangels but stop often to smile at Mommy so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too. Soar among clouds with Sara on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mommy together always, beloved big boy. Pressy's Grandpa

Maxwell, you are truly cherished! Please go to the Bridge and purr your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mommy who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Carol, your world has lost a very special furpurrson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Maxwell, along with Sara, is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May their sweet love continually nuzzle your heart until then. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha....Please visit our Katy at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/KATY004/resident.HTM
