Hi Carmen, this is Lynne from Kangaroo Island SA. I have just visited Peggy's Memorial and it is so beautiful. I know she went to Rainbow Bridge quite a while ago now. I had to have my daughter, best friend and soul mate Topsy put to sleep on 4th January 2022 and only found this site in December 22. I have decided to visit all the Memorials of Australian pets whose parents loved them so much that they wrote about their memories and thus keeping "Peggy" and other loved pets always remembered and with us. Thank you for sharing her story, Lynne

"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel Peggy, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember the way your baby's tender love touched your very heart, be the ones that surround you this Holiday Season. My prayer for each of us this special time of year, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us this special season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it most.... And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved furbaby bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your fur-angel would want for you this year ... With best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty & DJ's mom)

My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

To precious Peggy, a new angel at the Rainbow ... I can just see you now with Smudgy, romping and playing in the green grassy meadows & the crystal clear waters by the bridge, both of you having such fun! Though you are going to miss your family back here, I just know you've had a chance to look around for some cozy soft places to take your warm Rainbow-colored doggy naps, haven't you... And each time you look up and see that wondrously magical Rainbow, may you know that your family has actually helped make it shine a little brighter. How? With their tears, sweet baby. Each of their love-drop filled tears here have mixed with the sunshine there at your new home, and your Rainbow shines even more beautifully for you now, doesn't it sweet baby! An old Indian proverb: "The Soul would have no Rainbow if the Eyes had No Tears" says it best... You now find rest in the Arms of the Angels...what more could your family have ever wished for you? What more could they have ever wished....

Peggy - What a pretty little mother you are, and how much you loved your family! Send mom and dad and Bambi some kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let mom and dad know that you have met up with Smudgy and that God has appointed the both of you to be their guardian, protectors to watch over them until they are called to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. To Carmen - I send my heartfelt condolence to you over the loss of Peggy. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

Welcome to the bridge, Peggy. Where you can be whole and happy again. Carmen, I lost my Niko the same way...during a surgery and all of a sudden. I think our babies have forgiven us and know that we did everything in order to help them get well. We will see our babies again some day and they can tell us that themselves. http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKO007/Resident.htm

Hello, pretty Peggy, welcome to the sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Your Mommy and Daddy love and miss you so...they made you a beautiful place at RB. We asked our Pressy to help Smudgy welcome you and be your playmate to chase coloful butterflies and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll help show you Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind to Mommy and Daddy...signs to Baby Bambi too!...so they feel your presence and special kisses in gentle evening breezes. You're now another guardian star shining brightly until they come to cross the Bridge all together for all time. We ask they not be so sad but remember you're nestled deep in their hearts forever. Play happy meadow games with the furangels but stop often to smile at Mommy and Daddy so they feel the warmth of your love and know you miss them too. Soar high among the clouds with Smudgy on your silvery new angel wings to watch over Mommy and Daddy together always, geliebte kleine Maus. Pressy's Grandpa

Peggy, please go to the Bridge and send your love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mommy who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Carmen, your world has lost a very special furperson, and heaven has gained a very special soul. Peggy is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as BG is watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet love continually hug your heart until then. Clare & Martha
