Hi Q, you were such a sweet boy. It was such a pleasure knowing you while you lived in Berkeley with your Mom. Have fun romping on the Rainbow Bridge. Say hi to my babies: Sherry, Shorty and Franklin!!

I still think of this loving boy quite often and tell stories of all the things that made Q, Q. Like the way he barked and jumped at the television every time there was any animal on the screen. I'll always love and miss this boy. He was a large part of my life for a short time.

Kathy, my deepest condolences for the loss of your beloved Q (does Q stand for something?). I can tell you miss your beautiful boy terribly despite the years that have passed. I lost my sweet dog, Chili, in April and know I will miss her until the end of time. Q was certainly a lucky dog to be so loved that you continue to honor him by maintaining Q's beautiful memorial. My thoughts are with you in the hope that you find comfort and peace in your special memories of your baby. Sincerely, Lauren If you’d like to visit Chili’s memorial, please go to: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/CHILI001/Resident.htm

They will not go quietly, the pets who've shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Old habits still can make us think we hear them at the door Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish use to be, And, sometimes, coming home at night, we miss them terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That one place in our hearts belongs to them.... and always will. - Author unknown. I am so sorry for your loss but I do hope that this poem offers you some comfort. Blessings…………………..

Dear Q...Welcome to Rainbow Bridge. kathy has built a lovely house for you. This is where you can now play and frolic and make new friends. Your new friends will show you around, take you to the fun spots and teach you how to send your love across the bridge to Kathy so that she may know that you are lovingly waiting for her and are with her at all times.....never separated.... Dear Kathy...The loss of our animal friends are far too great and often cannot be explained nor the grief overcome...I pray that you have the courage for this time and know that in truth, there is no separation...for our animal friends continue to be with us in their own ways at all times... Kathy--what a great tribute to a great furry. I was(and am again) a lab mom and I know they have an insite like no other. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know Q is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and friends while while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge. Maybe Q is even sharing stories of his travels. I can send you my babies site if you wish to visit..take care..

Kathy, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Q and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

Hello, handsome Q, welcome to the sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mom loves and misses you so...she made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words about you. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase golden sunbeams and colorful rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mom feels your loving presence with her and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly for her until she comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask she not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in her heart forever. Play happy meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Mom so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her. Soar among clouds now on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mom always, beloved best boy. Pressy's Grandpa

Hello Kathy, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Q. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on there memory and begin to celebrate there life. Please take comfort in knowing that one day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander in July 2008 & have attached his link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm

Dear Kathy, he's so very beautiful and your words are loving tribute to such a special furbaby. What a wonderful blessing that you two were together for many years. I know the heartbreak of losing a precious little soulmate. Both of my kitties went to the rainbow meadow two weeks apart after blessing my life for many years. We must remember that our babies have gone to a happy place where they are young and well again. Sweet Q now plays like a puppy in heaven's sunshine. My Inky and Bubba Lou were there to welcome him to the meadow and I am sure they will become the best of friends. Our babies know that they will be reunited with their earthly families someday. To us, it will seem like an eternity until we see them again, but to them, it's the blink of an eye and the wag of a tail. May wonderful memories bring healing to your heart and may God bless you with comfort and peace. I understand and care. Jane

Q - You are a handsome guy and you have been a great companion! Send your family some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Kathy know that God has appointed you to be her guardian, protector to watch over her until she is called to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. To Kathy - I send my deepest regrets to you over the loss of Q. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 6 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.
