I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Riley. Please find comfort in knowing that Riley is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Riley and Spooky have become good friends. I only met Riley a short time ago, but he made a big impression. Sweet and graceful (even with one leg missing.) He sat so calmly through our yoga session -- happy to just be in the room with us. Clearly loving and trusting his mom completely. Emily, I am so sorry for your loss. -Chelsey

Welcome to the bridge Riley...how are you today? You are going to make many friends at the bridge & there's so much for you to do. You get to play ball & take long naps in the sun. Most of all, you are CANCER free. Isn't that great? Make sure you send your mommie lots of smooches so she knows you are OK. To Emily...we are sorry for your loss. Hold your memories close to your heart until you see your precious Riley again. http://RainbowsBridge.com/Residents/COLE002/resident.htm

Riley was so sweet and so cute. I am blessed to have known Riley and really enjoyed watching him while you and Ken stayed at my home, while your house was being completed. Riley was just so sweet, when I saw him on Friday evening of June 1st..he walked up to me and I petted his head as Henry & Katie told me about his surgery on his tail. To know Riley was to love Riley. I am so saddened for your loss and know you will join him again one day...to play as you continue to love him. My deepest regards during this time of sorrow for your dearly beloved, Riley.

Riley - I remember you sitting quietly on your bed curiously watching us doing yoga in the living room - I noticed your toys were all in good shape! Obviously well-loved, and still intact. Such a sweet good boy.

Emily & Ken - so sorry to hear of your loss. We feel priveleged to have met Riley just a few short weeks ago. Our kids loved giving him snuggles and Austin had a blast running up and down his ramp. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you in this time of grieving.

Emily, beautiful page -- a real tribute to such a great dog. When I first met him, I was so surprised at how narrow he was.....it was like looking at the shadow of a dog. But he was always interested in everything that was going on, and walked so great on a leash, even for strangers like me. He is in a better place, and will run around and around waiting until you are both together again, but he is watching, too, and wishes you to know, I am sure, that he is healthy, happy and whole. And he loved his life with you.

Emily and Ken brought Riley to Saratoga Springs Ut just about a year ago. Being the local dog walker, I was one of the calls that Emily made. And it was not just to get to know her neighbors. She wanted someone to take care of Riley during the day while they went off to work. I went to visit and immediately fell in love. Riley became my boyfriend. We spent afternoons walking, sometimes just sitting on the deck watching the airplanes. Just plain old hanging out. Riley had a wonderful way of making people love him. I think he really though he was my boyfriend. Emily I am sure you will miss him greatly. And, I will also. I am glad that I had the time to spend with him that I did.
