I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Rousseau. Please find comfort in knowing that Rousseau is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Rousseau and Spooky have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

-Rousseau was the sweetest cat I have ever known. My family always had cats and dogs and when I was on my own I always had a cat in my life. I know how painful it is to lose a cat, it is like losing a member of your family, which they are. -The first thing I noticed about Rousseau was that he loved people. He would stay in the room with a group of people or if you were there alone, it wouldn't be long before he was in your lap purring away. -Sometimes Nancy and Kit would go on a trip and I would feed Rousseau and Gina. After I fed them, I would sit down for a few minutes and watch TV. The next thing I knew Rousseau was in my lap purring away. I would pet her while watching disasters on the daily news broadcast. -Eventually I would have to leave and I actually felt a little guilty having to scoop her up off my lap and say goodbye. But I have to say goodbye to you now Rousseau as much as I don't want to. Love, George

Welcome to the bridge Rousseau...how are you today? You are going to make many friends at the bridge & there's so much for you to do. You get to chase lizards & take long naps in the sun. And I hear they have the best catnip around. Isn't that great? Make sure you send your mommie lots of purrs so she knows you are OK. To Nancy...we are sorry for your loss. Hold your memories close to your heart until you see your precious Rousseau again. http://RainbowsBridge.com/Residents/PFEIF001/resident.htm

Welcome to the Bridge! I know you're busy making friends, romping around playing, and laughing so hard you just can't stand it, but don't forget to take the time to let your family know you're okay and thank them for the wonderful life they gave you...

I am Rousseau's human "daddy", also known as Nancy's wife. I had the pleasure of knowing Rousseau from late 1999 to his passing. He was a very sweet little cat man. He was very kind, gentle disposition, had the sweetest little meows and vocalizations. All the visitors to our home remarked how nice and friendly he was. He is sorely missed by Nancy and me.

Rousseau - How handsome you are and what a great companion you have been. Send your family some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Nancy know that God has appointed you to be their guardian, protector to watch over all until they are called to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. To Nancy - I send my deepest regrets to all of you over the loss of Rousseau. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

Rousseau, What a precious baby you were, always so loyal and loving. You taught and gave your mommy so much that she now knows the true meaning of unconditional love. She longs for the day to be able to hold you and to look into your eyes again. I know just how grateful you are for all of love and care in which she provided you. She misses you baby, so very much. I know that you don't want her to be sad for too long, but instead, be happy. For you are happy, content at peace and have been surrounded by so many others who also love and adore you, including my Shayna Girl and Leche. I extend my deepest condolences to you for the loss of Rousseau.I know just how painful it is to have lost your angel, for, I too, lost mine. Please vist my Shayna Girl at: http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/SHAYN005/Resident.htm and Leche at http://www.rainbowbridge.com/residents/LECHE001/Resident.htm My thoughts and prayers are with you. Until we are with our babies again. Shayna and Leche's mommy, Lisa

My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

Rousseau, you are purrfectly gorgeous! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mommy who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Nancy, your world has lost a very special furpurrson, and heaven has gained a very special soul. Rousseau is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as BG is watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his sweet love continually nuzzle your heart until then. Blessings & peace, Clare & Martha....Please visit BG and all his friends at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BG001/resident.HTM

Hello, precious Rousseau, welcome to the sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mommy loves and misses you so...she made you a beautiful place at Rainbows Bridge. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase golden sunbeams and colorful rainbows and share kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mommy hears your meows and purrs and feels a soft touch of your kitty paw in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly for her until she comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask she not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're curled up beside your pawprints deep in her heart forever. Play happy meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Mommy so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too. Soar among clouds now on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mommy always, beloved Rousseau. Pressy's Grandpa
