Memories of Ginger Snap
Ginger:

We fought so hard to keep you with us, but in the end we knew you were hurting. Who knew that the tumor on your spleen had nothing to do with bladder cancer that was ravaging your body. All the money in the world could do nothing to help you and we realized that you needed peace from all the pain you were experiencing. So with a heavy heart, surrounded by Mom and Dad and your friends Dr. Wagner and Dr. Hampson from Wyomissing Animal Hospital, we said farewell. Please wait for us at the bridge, so we can once again watch you romp and play as you did as a puppy. Enjoy your time with Rusty and Dusty and your cousins Megan and Emily. Our grief is tempered by the fact that you are no longer in pain.

5/09-Its been nearly a year since we last hugged you. Never a day goes by that Mom or I don't think of you.

6/10- Two years now since your passing. Mom and I think of you often. Hope you are happy at the bridge.

6/11- 3 years now since you left us. Mom and I were talking about you last night. She is walking a Yellow Lab that she says looks just like you. Hope all your pain is gone and you are enjoying your time at the Bridge. Mom and I adopted a rescue golden that needed help. She has a bad leg and a skin disorder. She is doing fine with our love. Her name is Roxy.

6/12- Another year has gone by. It's hard to believe that it has been 4 years since you left us. Your sister Roxy has fully recovered from her leg injury and Mom and I say she is the worst, cutest, dog we ever had. She is a counter surfer and drives your brother Cody crazy. Hope your are pain free and playing with your brother Rusty and sister Dusty.

6/13- Another year....5 and counting since you left us. I have your ashes on our mantle next to your brother Rusty Fudge. We hope you are playing with him and your sister Dusty and cousins Megan and Emily.

6/14-Now 6 years are gone. We hope you are pain free and enjoying your time at the bridge.

2/2015. Your brother Mocha crossed over the bridge last month. You were always very protective of him and we are counting on you to show him around and make him feel welcome.

6/16- It's hard to believe it is 8 years now. I can still remember the day we picked you up at the breeder. You whined the whole way home as Staci and Steven attempted to comfort you.

6/17- 9 Years now. I remember when you tried to be the charmin puppy, as you grabbed the toilet paper from he spare bathroom and pulled it all the way throught the kitchen. RIP

6/18- 10 Years at the bridge. I hope you are pain free and playing with Mocha and Rusty. RIP

2/22- Over 13 years since we last held you. Your golden brother Cody is with you now. We have 2 golden furbaby girls, Roxy and Maddie who are DVGRR rescues. RIP

2/24 Still remembered fondly.
