I know it's been a while since the passing of your boy Aspen. I just lost my Heidi. My heart breaks for her. A similar situation. I think God looks into our hearts the way we love his greates gifts, his fur babbies. They are only loaned to us for a short time.
I, as you, were so blessed to have such a gift!
Peace,
Gary

"Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened" -Anatole France - I have found such profound truth in that statement.... I believe in my heart, that is why we never forget the joy, the love, the very presence of our babies even after they've gone. You see, the part of us they've awoken simply never again falls asleep inside us! Instead, the cherished memories of their love, their very "presence" in our lives, keeps their flame eternally glowing in our hearts, no matter how little...or how long of a time has gone by since they've left our side....
May Aspen's flame continue to burn brightly and shine eternally in your heart, Robert ... With wishes of the warmest and happiest of Holiday seasons this year to your entire family.......... from, Karen (Dusty's mommy)....... http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

Hello precious Aspen. I hope you are having so much fun up at the Rainbow Bridge! No more pain, no sickness, not a care in the world! Except that your dad here on Earth misses you so much sweet baby. Don't forget to remind him every now and then that you love and miss him too and are always with him in spirit. I hope you were there to greet my little Cleo when she got there in April- can you give her a nuzzle for me? Her mama misses her so. Time may heal our pain but our hearts NEVER forget our babies. One day our tears of sorrow will turn to tears of joy when we are reunited with our beloved pets forever. Rest softly sweet Angel.

Aspen - what a beautiful stance you have and such a good looking guy that you are! Send your dad some kisses from the Rainbow to let him know that you are safe, happy, healthy and have made a lot of fur friends. Let dad know that God has appointed you to be the guardian, protector to watch over him until he is called to the Bridge one day to join you. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. To Robert - I send you my deepest regrets over the loss of Aspen. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande
http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown
