Bless you for taking in a foundling and I am sure Dorkie more than paid back the love. We lost our foundling, Dusty Lorraine three weeks ago and know how it feels to lose such a precious gift. Dorkie was lucky to have found you and you to have found her.

I am so sorry to hear about your recent loss of Dorkie. Please find comfort in knowing that Dorkie is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Dorkie and Spooky have become good friends. Dorkie your were a special dog who came in a special package. The package came special delivery to your special family. What a wonderful gift to received. As you cross over the Rainbow Bridge your family can know that you are in no pain, you feel wonderful, and you have many wonderful furry friends to play with. In fact they were waiting for you when you showed up at the gait. Everyone who arrives is always welcomed by many furry creatures. You have a special task ahead of you now to become the families special guardian angel. To watch over them, and keep them safe, until they cross over and you meet up with them some day. Dorkie the memories your family has of you will never go away, they will forever be kept in their heart of hearts for ever and ever.

My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

Kristina - Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your baby. I've had to have several of my babies put down also, so I know how very hard it is. I believe our babies know we will always carry them in our hearts. And if we do happen to get another baby (as most of us do) they know it's because they taught us how to love, and it makes them smile.
