LITSA's Rainbows Bridge Guest Book

Return to LITSA's Rainbows Bridge Residency

  From: Dusty's mommy, Karen

"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the happiest of memories of your sweet Litsa be the ones that you remember this month of December. May it be those very memories, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face, that surround you during this Holiday Season, the first one that your baby will celebrate with child-like fascination at the Rainbow ... And may those love-filled memories bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one of the little presents that your furbaby guardian angel would want for you this year.... May God bless you and your entire family this wonderful Holiday Season. With best wishes, Karen....Dusty's mom....NJ http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

We miss you Litsa... What a tragedy! We gave you back to GAR on Nov 10 2007 not because we didn't love you anymore, but because we thought it would be better for you to be with a family that could be home with you more often than we could. Even on the days I worked only 5 hrs, your separation anxiety got the best of you to the point where you would destroy things. We loved you and if we could have avoided this kind of fate, we would have waited at least another week to give to back to GAR. We just found out about your death yesterday and somehow my heart knew something was wrong. We had a bond that was precious and I want to thank GAR for giving Litsa and our small family the chance to love her for the short time that we could. Our condolences go also to her new family. We have felt terrible for letting her go only to have this kind of fate three days later. Please do not blame yourselves. She is no longer suffering from horrible memories of puppyhood anymore and can be a free spirit.

How very sad a fate for poor Litsa. To finally have found a loving home and then to have lost it so soon afterward. To hear her story has been an emotional roller coaster but there is consolation in the fact that so many kind hearted people tried to help her. Sweet Litsa rest in peace.

I know Litsa for only a few days before she went to the Rainbow Bridge. I am not taking it well!! Yesterday, I spent some time looking at Litsa's photos and I just couldn't accept her fate! I went to bed thinking about her for quite some time. All I can see was her lovely face, so sad & so scared! Her last moment? So alone, so scared and so much pain! May be this has to do with me losing my Eddie after 2-years of battling cancer this Sep-07. Eddie was the bravest boy. We did everything money can buy! For such a wonderful kind boy, why did he has to face that much suffering? Litsa doesn't deserve her fate and neither does Eddie.

I was very sad to hear about your dog. Its hard to lose an animal, especially one that you wanted to help so badly. I hope you and your family feel better soon and your other animals provide you with some comfort during this difficult time. I will give my dogs an extra big hug tonight and will be thinking of you.

God bless you all for rescuing and giving this baby a home of love even if it was for a short time. I too lost my Princess, a rescue also to a car on the 23rd of December 2005, 23 months today..it is hard knwoing that they had such a rough start to begin with, I do hope you find some comfort in the knowing that Litsa is no longer afraind but in a land of beauty and love with all our babies and the angels themselves. Take care.

My heart goes out to you. Litsa did find her pack and I'm sure she knew she was loved. My Fred, a greek rescued pointer, has recently gone to the RB so Litsa will have another Greek friend to play with there. So sorry for your loss. Cathryn

My heart goes out to you all. I am in animal rescue on the greek island of Crete and see too many of these abused dog and have one in my house together with my 2 other rescue dogs. They are always so sweet even having been treated so badly. My Sweetie has been with us 3 years now and still has her fears.

I am so saddened to hear about the loss of Lista. She was very lucky to learn what love really is before she passed. Our thoughts are with you all.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I know what that feels like. I had a dog who had been hit by a car before I got her and then one tragic day she did the unexpected so now I'm overprotective with my new dog.

Dear sweet Litsa, I just want to let you know that your final resting place will be with all your friends at the shelter back in Greece. I'll be taking you there on our next visit in May 2008. And I got your new family an imprint of your paw to have as a keepsake. It's only been a week today that you were taken from us so we're still feeling pretty sad but with time, the sadness will be replaced by good memories, like the fun you had sniffing all the fallen leaves at the doggy park last Sunday morning before we left to go meet your new family. I wonder if you've met my Brandy & Tiffany yet - they're cats and don't really know what dogs are so be nice to them, okay! Sending lots of hugs ... Dianne / Tails from Greece Rescue.

Hello, pretty little Litsa, welcome to the forever sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Your family loves and misses you so...they made you a beautiful place at RB. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be your playmate to chase golden sunbeams and rainbows and give you kitty headbumps. She'll show you wonders of the bright Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind to your family so they'll feel your presence beside them and sweet doggie kisses in gentle evening breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly for them until they come to cross the Bridge together for all time. We'll ask they not be so sad but remember you're nestled in their hearts forever. Play happy meadow games with the other furbabies but stop often to smile at your family so they'll feel the warmth of your love and know you miss them too and you're with them always. Soar high among the clouds now on your silvery new angel wings to watch over your family, beloved Litsa. Pressy's Grandpa

Debby, Paul, and William, I am so sorry for the loss of this beautiful and so precious Furbaby, and I wish you guys peace and comfort during this hard time. May God bless you and help us all to understand why these ever so precious furbabies leave us in tragic ways as they sometimes do. Please know that here at RB others like myself know well the pain you have in your heart today. We know what great hopes you had for this precious little one. I just wish there was something I could say to you today, to help you feel better, only that Litsa is now in a most beautiful place that the bonds of your love created for her. She will never... be afraid again. May she rest in peace forever and ever. Jill Murphy (Tarby's Mommy) http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/TARBY002/Resident.htm
