Hi Dear Sissy! I loved your story that your mom wrote here for you. How very special and good you were! I know you are smiling with my beautiful Shammah every day as you wait for us. Jan, she was a real sweetheart and loved so much. That love lives on forever now until we are together again.

Hello, pretty Sissy. We're sorry we've not visited sooner but we didn't know about you. The little old gray lady kitty who helped you welcome Hoot to beautiful Paradise meadow is our Pressy. Pressy told us about you and asked her family to visit her doggie playmate Sissy. She said she gives you her special kitty love headbumps and taught you to send love signs on the wind so Mom feels your loving presence with her and sweet kisses when gentle evening breezes blow. Pressy said you sent a love sign to tell Mom Hoot arrived in Paradise meadow and is waiting with you as you both watch over her until she comes to cross the Bridge one day to be together for all time. Play happy meadow games in beautiful Paradise with Hoot and the other furangels but both stop often to smile at Mom so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too. Soar among the clouds with Hoot now on silvery angel wings to watch over Mom together always, beloved Sis. Pressy's Grandpa

My best friend closed his eyes last night,
As his head was in my hand.
The doctors said he was in pain,
And it was hard for him to stand.
The thoughts that scurried through my head
As I cradled him in my arms,
Were of his younger, puppy years,
And Oh...his many charms.
Today, there was no gentle nudge,
With an intense "I love you" gaze,
Only a heart that's filled with tears
Remembering our joy-filled days.
But an Angel just appeared to me,
And he said, "You should cry no more,
God also loves our canine friends,
He's installed a doggy door!"

Sissy - You are truly an amazing lady! Send mom some of those signs and kisses and let her know that you have met up with Hoot and John and that all of you will be waiting on her to join you one day. Run fast little lady and play in the sunshine and moonbeams.

Sissy, what a beautiful girl you are. You have left your mom with such fine memories that I am sure are with her till this day. Bless your mom for giving you a second chance in life, for I am sure you have done with your presence. "Basset"s are the coolest!! Sissy, look for my lil' K-la who just crossed the rainbow. She is a shy lil' girl so I know she is scared. Give her big hugs for me. Until we all meet again at the bridge...May God Bless you,
Mary (K-la Jeannine Evans mom)

To my soul-sister&truly dear friend, Jan
and for your devotion, dedication and
never-ending love for one of the best
Bassetts I ever knew~'Sweet Girl Sissy.'
It's so unfair that our babies can't be
with us for much, much longer and share with us tons of tail wags, tongue laps
and high-power hugs.(those are the kind
when you absolutely can't let go.)Hey,
that would be all of the time!
I hope Sis & Hobie have found one another and have lots of stories to share and chickens to chase.God bless our perfect little girls and that includes Hoot & Gina. I'm sure Gina has
been talking up a storm and keeping all
of our babies entertained.I look forward
whole-heartedly for the day that we cross the bridge and we're back with the
true loves of our life once and for all.
Eternity with our babies is my idea of
Paradise. Keep running those little bassett paws around the bridge, Sis & one day, your mama will be running right along side you because you know...that's
the way it's s
