	From: Marie Holloway On: 2/24/08 I'm so sorry for your loss. I too lost two precious kids within a year of each other. First Lexie our German Shepard and Lacey are Pembroke Corgi. It was very hard to make that choice to let them go to the Rainbow Bridge. They are both sadly missed. It has been three years for Lexie and two for Lacey and I still think of them both every day. I'm sure you feel the same way, that it doesn't get easy with each day. Just sadder.

But we knew it was time to say goodbye and now he free from pain. It was the hardest thing to do and it always will be. But I know he's in a better place. I know exactly how you feel. Take care

You never know what type of life they led before being rescued and instead of being forever grateful, sometimes they have so much fear and mistrust, they can't overcome the fear and pain.
