Hi Marcie,
I'm so sorry about the loss of Snickers. She was a beautiful cat. Now she's in heaven, hopefully playing with Benji, although he was a vicious little thing sometimes!!!
It gets easier every day, but the pain doesn't go away.

Hello precious girl, Snickers. Welcome to the Rainbow Bridge baby- no more pain little one. Your mommy misses you so much sweet girl and my heart breaks for her. It is your job now to remind her often that you are still with her, just in a different way now. I know mmy Cleo was there to meet you. You look just like my Stella who is still with me, so, I am sure Cleo was so excited to see a beautiful tortie like you! She will make a wonderful friend for you :) Marci, I am so very sorry for your loss. Reading your tribute brought a tear to my eye because Snickers looks so much like my Stella (who is still with me) and I know how devastated I would be in your shoes. But, I know my sweet Cleo and Snickers will be best of friends since Snickers loved kittens so much and Cleo loves everyone! (especially torties :) ) May God comfort you at this sad time.

Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. Snickers - You have the cutest name as well as being the sweetest and most lovable kitty anywhere around! Send your mom and dad some kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many fur friends to play with now. Let mom and dad know that God has appointed you to be their guardian, protector to watch over them until they are called to the Bridge to join you one day. Oh Snickers - you remind me so much of my beautiful tortie calico Callie. I pray that you and she meet up and play together until we can join you. Marci and Nick - I'm so sorry. Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your baby. I've had to have several of my babies put down also, so I know how very hard it is. I believe our babies know we will always carry them in our hearts. And if we do happen to get another baby (as most of us do) they know it's because they taught us how to love, and it makes them smile.

We now have an empty place in our heart, nothing will ever fill it but there are others out there who will help heal it and show us the way to a new love. There is a really big party some place right now and the long list of my babies and your baby are eating some cat nip and having some fish cat food and lying in the sun together. Snickers. You look like a "Snickers". Your mommy named you appropriately. You did your job so well, taking care of the other kitties that your mom and dad took in. You knew you had important things to do..take care of the other kitties, make your mommy and daddy smile. Your work here on earth is done now. You are happy and full of life at the Bridge. Please continue to send your mommy signs that you are watching over her and that you are having a great time playing with the other furkids at the Bridge. GBU :).
