I'm so sorry you lost such a beautiful kitty. So many photos, so many wonderful memories you have! Velvet is always just a whisper away from your love, and is playing forever on soft meadows. I hope you will visit my Timmy's page, he can be a pal to Velvet as we have 5 black cats and Timmy loved them all. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/TIMMY015/Resident.htm

"......And these fond recollections are treasured in the heart to bring us always close to those from whom we had to part. There is a bridge of memories from Earth to Heaven above… It keeps our dear ones near us It’s the bridge that we call love."... Merry Christmas Velvet

"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel Velvet, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember the way your baby's tender love touched your very heart, be the ones that surround you this Holiday Season. My prayer for each of us this Christmas season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us this special season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it most.... And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved furbaby bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your fur-angel would want for you this year ... With best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty & DJ's mom)

To precious Velvet, a new angel at the Rainbow... I can just see you now with your feather-soft guardian angel wings, watching over your family back here. And I just know by now you've had a chance to look around for the coziest & softest places to take your sunshine filled Rainbow-colored cat-naps, haven't you... And each time you look up and see that wondrously magical Rainbow, may you know that all those who loved you back here have actually helped make it shine a little brighter. How? With their tears, sweet baby. Each love-drop filled tear here has mixed with the sunshine there at your new home, and your Rainbow shines even brighter for you now..... An old Indian proverb: "The Soul would have no Rainbow if the Eyes had No Tears" says it best... You now find rest in the Arms of God's very own Angels...what more could Tami have ever wished for you? What more could have ever been wished...

My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

Welcome to the Bridge! I know you're busy making friends, romping around playing, and laughing so hard you just can't stand it, but don't forget to take the time to let your family know you're okay and thank them for the wonderful life they gave you...

I loved your pictures. What angel you adopted. I am so sorry for your loss. You have such wonderful memories to look back on besides the great pictures. You cared for a kitty that did not have a home, and in return you received the best gift of all, unconditional love with entertainment as a perk. My prayers go out to you and your husband. I will keep you and all your kitty's besides Velvet in my prayers. Love Nancy-Commander Bun Bun's Mommy-http://Rainbowsbridge.com/Residents/COMMA001/Resident.htm

Welcome to the bridge Velvet...how are you today? You are going to make many friends at the bridge. There's so much for you to do. You get to chase lizards, butterflies & take long naps in the sun. And I hear they have the best catnip around. But best of all...there's NO cancer at the bridge. Isn't that great? Make sure you send your mommie lots of purrs so she knows you are OK. To Tami...we are extremely sorry for your loss. It's never easy letting our babies leave us but we do because we love them so very much. Hold your memories close to your heart until you meet your precious Velvet again. http://RainbowsBridge.com/Residents/PFEIF001/resident.htm

Der Tami, I loved looking at the pictures of Velvet, aren't you glad you took lots and lots of pictures for the memories? Let the beauty in the memory be the sunrise and let the sunrise soothe the heart. My Beloved Friend Coco passed away on 9/12/08. Please visit my Coco's residency when you feel up to it http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/COCO065/Resident.htm Peace and Love Robin

Being a loving pet owner myself, I feel for what you've gone through, having Velvet for so long. However, you are also very fortunate to have had 11 1/2 good years together. My dog Murphy is coming up on 11 years old in January and I know his life is getting slower. Pets bring so much love into a home....Cherish the times you had together and the memories he left : ) Love, Robin

Velvey, you were a real trooper through all of your final trials and tribulations and surgery. You were like the Energiser Bunny - you just kept going! You were the "elder statesman" of Tami and Darrin's "kitty family." You were always a sweet kitty and much loved by your "kitty" brothers and sisters as well as your "human" extended family. "Grandma" loves you and will miss her "Velvey".

Velvet, you are so purrfectly gorgeous! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mommy who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Tami, your world has lost a very special furpurrson, and heaven has gained a very special soul. Velvet is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as BG is watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his sweet love continually hug your heart until then. Clare & Martha....Please visit BG at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BG001/resident.HTM

Mr. Velvet - I hear that you were quite a hair artist and also talented with acrobatics! Send your family some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let mom and dad know that you have been appointed by God to be their guardian, protector to watch over them until they are called to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. To Tami - I send you my sincere sympathy over the loss of Velvet. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown
