Good Morning, brave fur soldiers. We visit to honor you on this Veteran's Day. We recognize your dedicated service to our nation and to those with whom you served so faithfully. We regret we have none of your names to honor each of you individually but know you all are deeply honored by us and remembered for your service not only on occasions such as Memorial Day and Veteran's Day but always. We recognize the great debt owed you four-legged warriors who served us so well and will be forever thankful for what you gave us...your unconditional loyalty and great courage as you fought alongside us, often saving many lives through your vigilance and bravery. We salute you today and always. We keep you and the memory of your service forever in our hearts. We hope the depth of our appreciation and honor is recognized by you in our simple but heartfelt words "Thank you". Rest forever in honored and well earned peace, brave fur warriors.

Good Morning, brave and faithful fur soldiers. We visit you on another Veteran's Day to once again pay honor to you for your brave and devoted service. We want you to know you are NOT forgotten but are held forever deeply in the hearts of many...especially military men and women with whom you served so proudly and so well. Your selfless service and brave acts that so many times saved lives are remembered so long as there lives those of us who had the honor of serving and know of your great service and unfailing loyalty. We are still ashamed our nation did not recognize your devotion and treat you honorably for your service...we ask your forgiveness for this terrible injustice. We present you a memorial of the legendary yellow rose of the U.S. Cavalry as a symbol of our remembrance and a salute for brave and honorable service. Rest always in honored and revered memory, brave fur soldiers.

Thank you for the wonderful memorials for all the animals who fought bravely in the wars, I remember my dad speaking of a dog he had in Japan in WWII......and all those animals who had to suffer Katrina and all the other natural and terrorist disasters that we all have witnessed. Their bravery, love, courage and sacrifice should never be forgotten - God bless them and all the animals on Earth & in Heaven!

This was wonderful of you. The powers that be always think of the humans but they forget that they also sent over 4 legged soldiers. What, their lives are not worthy of anything? I don't think so. The ones that were left over there..we all know where they ended up. And to put them down because they MIGHT pose a threat? The humans that came home, came home with a lot of illnesses & trauma. Did we put them down? NO. We didn't even help those men get through what they had to get through. I don't get it. Thank you for taking time out of your day to think of the babies that we lost during that war. Let's not forget that we are induring yet another war where we have lost lives & the lives of the animals.
Heartbreaking!!!!

Shame, shame on our government for this lack of compassion to the soldiers who served them so well. I sit here with tears in my eyes and prayers in my heart for all these brave animals. This is my 2nd visit to their residency. Thank you Ginny.

I as many Americans who visit this site are touched by taking the time to remember those fur soldiers lost in all wars. Brave animals who dedicated their life to protect their handler as well as America. Thank You for taking the time to do this memorial at Rainbow Bridge.

Dear Jeanne, we just found this wonderful residency you created for America's brave four-legged warriors. Thank you and bless you for creating this beautiful and moving memorial to all those fur soldiers who sacrificed selflessly and unconditionally. It is indeed sad and shameful that rather than such devotion being properly recognized and repaid by a grateful Government and nation, our fur warriors were abandoned by those they served so well. May the Lord forever hold in His special care those brave furry soldiers who so bravely served and then were forgotten by all but a few.
Both my wife and I are retired U.S. Army. I am a combat vet of 2 1/2 years in Vietnam but unfortunately I know of no names to give you to memorialize...I wish wholeheartedly that I did. Please accept our deepest gratitude for what you have done for our forgotten fur warriors. My wife and I would be honored to assist you in any way with maintenance of your wonderful fur warriors memorial site.
