a woman dying of cancer, requested that her husband use her ashes to nourish her favorite flower. After her death, her husband
made it his mission to do just that.
Floramorial and Petaflorial soil were created to convert cremation ash into a planting medium to grow a decorative plant,
bush or tree as a living memorial. Cremation ash is an inert, granular material like stone or sand that
can now be transformed into plant food thanks to recent developments in horticultural science.
Plants or trees are sometimes designated as memorials for
our loved ones.
But now, for the
first time,
Floramorial
allows cremation
ash to become an
active
participant in
the life of the
plant or tree.
This

How it works Step
One
We will
send a small,
durable shipping
container to be
used to return
the cremation
ash to
Floramorial,
Inc. The
container is
identified by
the name of the
family and a
unique
identification
number.
Step
Two
The
cremation ash
will be
processed in the
Floramorial
facility to
create a
nutrient rich
soil and
initiate the
conversion to
plant available
phosphate.
Step
Three
The
Floramorial
broad-spectrum
planting medium,
28 pounds,
will be returned
to you sealed in
a highly durable
shipping
container
designed to
protect its
contents.
Included will be
an affidavit
certifying its
contents. The
product you
receive should
be used as you
would use
potting soil or
planting medium
purchased at
your local
garden supply
center. The
nutrient content
is suitable for
a wide variety
of floral
species.
