|We miss you very much, baby girl. You were my faithful companion and guardian angel for twelve sweet years. From the minute I spotted you at the animal shelter, a skinny little "rat" with Martian ears, a long tongue, a bright smile and that wonderful sparkle in your striking amber eyes, I knew I had to take you home. Who would have thought that you'd grow from 17 pounds to 85! Lots of good food, Meaty Bones and Beggin' Strips, I guess! What a cute belly! Alas, you grew into your funny, big ears and blossomed into my adorable Border Collie-Shepherd. Remember how I used to call you "the prettiest girl in all the land"? Oh, by the way, Wes now refers to you as "the Toyota of dogs"......never sick, always strong.....just kept on running until your right hip ultimately gave out while chasing your ball in the front yard! I am so very happy, though, that you lived the perfect dog's life.....jogging, hiking, swimming, playing in the snow and chasing your red ball in the schoolyard. We had a great time together while you were here on earth! Hoping you are having a wonderful time at Rainbows Bridge with all of your new furbaby friends, your cousins Sam and Mickey, friends Sadie and Scooter, hamster sisters, Heidi and Eva, and of course, Nana, Grandpa, Aunt Rebecca and Wes' Aunt Soph! And most of all, thank you for bringing your new precious Chihuahua-mix sisters named Sammie and Monika, into our lives. WE ALL LOVE YOU, ASHLEY!|
Ashley's People Parent(s), Helene, would appreciate knowing you have visited their Ashley's Memorial Residency.
