Memories of Andy
| Andy was a purrer, a bed snuggler, from the first day, until he came down with diabetes. He could no longer snuggle in bed, but he still purred when he looked at me. He loved life. Diabetes, arthritis, and the ailments of getting old never changed that. He was strong. In the end, he was stronger than me. Two days before he died, I looked in his eyes, and we both knew it was time. For 20 years, he trusted me and loved me. Mine was the last touch he felt, the last face he saw. I will never forget him. |
