Memories of Barclay
Barclay first came in to my life 14 years ago.

He was just a tiny kitten but we bonded immediately.

For the last 14 years he was my constant companion and loved to snuggle in my lap and curl up with me at night.

Always getting himself into trouble and was constantly stealing food off the counters.

He was a sweet loving boy who would always come to the door when I came home.

A year ago he started to loss weight due to cancer so he was put on meds. The weight loss was terrible but he still seemed comfortable. This week he developed an cancerous abscess in his mouth that was not going to get better and with his already frail health the decision was made to put him to sleep.

I was present for the whole thing and held him as he passed.

I am going to miss him forever.
