Memories of Boomer
Boomer joined our family in 2015. He took the journey from Mississippi to Buffalo, NY to become part of our family. We actually ended up driving a few hours to Albany, so we could pick up our furbaby sooner than the 11PM time he was expected to arrive in Buffalo. He was traveling with several other dogs to their forever homes. The minute Boomer was removed from the the transportation, he immediately kissed his Mama Debbie and gazed into Papa Mike's eyes. He was so happy to meet his forever parents. It as love at first site.
Boomer had a fondness for bottle toys, in particular the monkeys. He loved squeaking them and destroying the bottle inside by crushing it.
Enjoyed peanut butter and you could not open a jar without him knowing.
Boomer patrolled the yard and kept his home safe from anything not belonging there. He would alert to people walking by, cars parking in front of the house, and chase any critters like rabbits and squirrel away from the house.
