Memories of Buster Beauregard Stambaugh

You and your lambie. You were such a burly boy, and you looked so silly carrying that lambie around in your mouth. We loved to see you walk around with it and even try to take him outdoors when you went. I loved watching you lie in sun. You would lie under the cherry tree in the front yard and when you saw me drive up you would jump up and go to the drive way. You loved being out doors and I am glad I have the memory of you sitting on the sidewalk your last Sunday with us and letting the wind blow your ears. You were always happiest when the pool was open and you could lie on the deck and watch the world go by and sleep. You liked being up high, buy certainly not carried around or being lifted up. You liked your feet planted firmly on the ground. Speaking of feet, you were very protective of yours and wouldn't let us rub them or tickle them.
