In Memory of Chuck. A 15year old female Corgi Beagle, my best friend and companion. Her first few years were hard, she was a street dog in Glendive,Mt. Cold, hungry, scared, wanted people but she was afraid of them. Rescued, went to live with my Daughter Sarah -- 2 years- who was her Momma and loved her very much. Then lived with me for 10 yrs. She thought of my Grandchildren Cassie, Maddox, Ryleigh, Callista (Cupcake) as her puppies especially the three youngest who she helped raise from babies. She was very protective of them and her Momma. She love bread, apples, pears, corn on the cob- cooked of course- walks, rides, belly rubs and laying at the top of the stairs so she could look down and watch everything. You are now young, fast, strong and tawny colored again. You can now run fast, dig and be free. We will together again and I will be young, fast and strong. We will run together and play, I will bring you bread and give you loves. I miss you my pretty girl, my good girl, my best friend, I love you Chuck. 11/23/22 It has been a week and 1 day since we were parted from each other. I miss you, I have gotten notes from some of the parents & grandparents of your new friends, which has helped a lot. Your puppies miss you, your momma still cries, visit her in her dreams. I see you, I miss you, my good girl my pretty girl. 12/6/22 The most amazing thing happened today, I saw you. I wasn't even thinking about you, just sitting in my chair with eyes closed and all of a sudden you started to come into view. The image was crystal clear. you were just looking at me with those big dark eyes. It lasted for several seconds then you just slowly started fading out, all the while staring at me. My good girl 12/8/22 I can't believe that it has been a month, A lot of people have said really nice things to you. I have left apples in a box in the carport for you. I miss you my good girl 12/25/22 Merry Christmas, my pretty girl. Every one will be here soon, I have bread for you I miss you Chuck 3/22/23 Hi my little girl. It's been awhile it is the 2nd day of Spring sunny just perfect for rolling in the grass. I know that it is soon but I have a new little dog don't be jealous. She is a 1/2 cousin full Corgi she is a good little girl very shy. She lost here home and needed someplace. She is very sweet and I will love her but she is not you I miss you. I will post a picture so you can see her. Keep an eye out for the goofy cat Puff he is gone he will get lost unless you find him 5/12/23 Good Morning my pretty girl, it is a beautiful Spring day Maddox's little bunny is going to pass on today he is grey & white lop eared named Curious. Wait for him at the bridge he will be coming across show him were all the other bunny's are and check in on him from time to time. My good girl 7/22/23 Good morning my little girl, it is a beautiful summer day. I was thinking of you, corn is ripening I know how much you like corn on the cob. I miss going across the Mtns. with you, you love it over there- vacation. I think of you often and I miss you wait for me. Puff the cat has disappeared, find him he is your friend. 10/6/23 Beautiful Indian Summer day apples are ripe you love apples I will leave a box just for you in the carport stop by 11/8/23 Here it is 1yr I can't believe it I still think about you and miss you I love you my beautiful girl 12/25/23 Merry Christmas, my good girl 2/21/24 My good girl it is a sad day here your puppy Maddox's bunny has passed on it was his best friend her name is Nancy she is a big red bunny look for her lead her to the other bunnies so she can eat fresh clove in the sunshine every day I love you Chuck
