Kathi, Thank you for all you did for Colt and thank you for letting me be there to say goodbye. I got my final kiss and look of unconditional love from him that I will never forget. It is so true that when a dog enters your life, they give you a piece of their heart. When they leave they take a piece of your heart. After so many experiences from all our dogs I no long have a human heart, I have a dog heart. Fancy 1 and 2, Cuddles and Star "the shop dogs", Pierre, Carbone, Lacy our first together, Bond, Bridget, Bentley, Beckham and now Colt all that loved us uniquely and unconditionally and all with distinct personalities. All lived a great life. All were deeply loved. Today ended our collective family dog era and now we continue to love and care about the ones that remain. We will forever cherish the memories of our babies that leave us with some of our heart in tow. Leaving a void that you believe can never be filled. Then you go home to the ones that remain and start the unconditional love relationship all over again because there is nothing better than the love of a dog. Colt was very unique and very loving. I will miss him as I know all of us will too. Thanks again for all you did for him over the years Kathi.
