Memories of Dakota
To our forever Princess Dakota/Dirt dog... We will cherish the memories with you sweet Dakota. You gave a good fight against an unrelenting cancer. Your last two surgeries in july gave us another gift of 8 beautiful fun filled months with you. I tried the best I could to give you everything possible to rid the cancer in your body but maintain your life quality up to the end. I promised no more surgery and we had a lovely bittersweet day for goodbye yesterday (3/17/15) Your soulful eyes told me you were ready to go to Oscar at rainbow bridge. You enjoyed your yard and breeze outside, and slept by us last night until it was time for your final rest. You passed quietly in your sleep and are truly a beloved baby girl in our hearts. You are missed and we are broken hearted we could not make the cancer stay away for longer. We fought a good fight and you made it look easy. Thank you for the 11 years and 7 months that you were in our lives. You were always there for me and I hope I was always there when you needed me. I gave you all of my love and you will always be in my heart and in my memories. Thank you for your beautiful soul. Thank you for all the love and kisses yesterday and always. We love you... we miss you and we will see you again one day at rainbow bridge... Until then you are in our hearts forever. Good night and sweet dreams my dear love Dakota. Our precious princess dirt dog, for loving to lie out in the yard and get all dirty! Give Oscar and Dezi a big hug and kiss for us. Don't forget Bogie and Maggie too.
