Memories of Dutch
Dutch...Dutcher...The Buddies...everyone has their own little name for him. I will never forget the day I brought him home at 10 weeks old. He was so small and quiet, right up until bedtime when he began howling in the direction of the bedroom. We spent many nights sleeping on the kitchen floor during that first month or two. But we got through it. Dutch was always a survivor. He was a pet shop puppy that I just had to rescue. Given that, he had many physical problems over the course of his life. But he never let it stop him. He would take whatever medicine I gave him, and he always recovered. What a trooper he was. He was my protector, always making sure I was ok. We had 15 years of love, happiness, and fun. I will never forget it. The memories I have of Dutch will never fade. I will love him forever and miss him endlessly. He will always be my baby boy.
