Welcome to Daisy's Rainbow Residency

Daisy's Rainbow Residency

Memories of Daisy

5/2/03 - You were found stray and came to us three years ago through an angel from a local rescue club. You had lived a hard life, but your last three years were filled with unlimited love and joy. When you became ill, you rallied like a trooper and gave us one more wonderful year together. We remember how you would chase Blackhawk in the yard and around the house. And how you would nuzzle our necks and arms and sleep in the crooks of our arms at night. Oh sweet little Daisy, we love you and miss you so very, very much. Your furry sisters miss you, too. Saying good-bye was the hardest thing we ever had to do, but we know someday we will see you again at the Rainbow Bridge. Meanwhile, we will look for your star at night and keep you in our prayers. 5/2/04 - It was a year ago today that you started your journey to The Bridge. Our little Daisy, sometimes the pain is just as fresh as ever. But Annie has joined you now, and I pray every day that you both are happy and content together at The Bridge. We love seeing you two at night... you are always the brightest star in the sky. "Diamond Girl, you sure do shine, glad I have you, glad you're mine." "Day or nighttime you're like a shining star. How could I shine without you?"... remember when Mummy would sing that song to you? Oh Doodie, we will always and forever miss you so very, very much. Sweet dreams, little one... someday we'll be together again. 5/2/05 - Well, Doodie, it's been two years now. And we still miss you just as much. It's comforting to know your sisters, Blackhawk, Annie and Sugar Bear, are with you, and you are no doubt nuzzling them every day. Your Shasta Daisy is coming up, and we think of you every time we see it (which is every day). We love you so very, very much little Dood... kisses and hugs until we can be together again. 5/2/06 - Three years now, little, tiny Doodie. Daddy was remembering how light you were when he carried you outside, and Mummy was thinking about you nuzzling in the crooks of our arms when you slept with us at night. Your Shasta Daisy is stronger than ever, and it will be lovely when it blooms... just like you. Many kisses on the crown for you, our little love bug. We still miss you now just as much as we did three years ago. 5/2/07 - Four years....and we can still remember holding your delicate little body. Daisy, we hope you realize how very loved you were and still are. Mummy recently saw a picture of you when we first brought you home. You had so much spunk! And yet you were so very tender. We will make ribs on the grilla for you, Doodie, in memory of happy days in the past and in the days and years to come. Love you, tiny girl. 5/2/08 Well, little Dood...five years now. And can you believe our pain is still so very fresh? You were truly one of a kind, and we will always remember every single thing about you. We still laugh when we remember your first visits with the groomer. Then Mummy started grooming you, and you became the model dog. :) We still remember how your tiny body felt in our arms. And Mummy often thinks of that last night you slept with her... Take care, little Daisy. Love and kisses to you and your sisters.

Please also visit Annie, Blackhawk and Sugar Bear.
