Saying goodby to our beloved friend Dakota was the hardest thing we had to do. He brought so much joy to our lives. Our buddy, our baby boy. It is hard to express how much you meant to us. You gave us so much joy and happiness, there will never be another like you. We were so lucky to have had you watching out for us for over 14 years. There are so many wonderful memories. Thank you Dakota for all the love and joy you gave. Rest in peace our friend. We love you. 4-24-06 My dear Dakota, it's hard to believe it's been over 1 1/2 years that you have been gone. I think of you often my Dakota Joe. I still laugh at the funny antics you did. You were a character- my character and I loved you for it. I hope you're doing well over the Bridge, I love you so, until we meet again. 7-2-06 Hi Dakota, It's almost been 2 years. I know you're doing well and still looking after us. You gave us so much Dakota. You're always in my heart. You were the best 'shortstop!. Always loving and missing you. 6-3-07 My beloved Dakota, I think of you always.
