Memories of Footsie
I had only been a part of Footsie life for the past 2+ years, since I married my wife, Amy. She had her for many years before me. It was funny, I grew so attached to her. Footsie knew she had me wrapped around her little paws. I will always remember giving Footsie water right out of the tap. She would only have water directly from the tap. Eventually, we got a water fountain for her to drink from. She did, however, she still insisted I give her water from the tap. Footsie used to love cardboard boxes. Anytime we opened a box, she would automatically jump right in the box.
It was funny, for some reason, she loved to sit on the stove, especially when it was warm, after it had been used. She must have liked the heat. Anytime we ordered pizza, she sat on the pizza box. Amy told Footsie the pizza box was not a butt warmer. Anytime I sat at my desk, she would knock everything off my desk, unless I paid attention to her.

She was such a good kitty cat. I keep expecting to hear her cry for water. Anytime I sit down I think of her jumping on my lap, and purring really loudly.

1/11/2021: Dear Footsie, I picked up your remains from the Vet today. You know, that was really hard. I still still say I will be back guys (plural), because we have a dog, even though you are no longer there. I think where is the cat food when I feed Mikey (our dog). Rest assured, we will set your up on our mantle, next to my old dog, Brindle, since you liked to sit up high, and survey things. Trust me, you will like Brindle. I am sure you will make plenty of friends at the Rainbow Bridge. We will have a service for you. My Mon did that for all the animals that have passed through on our way to the Rainbow Bridge. We miss you.
