Gracie Hutsell's Rainbow Residency

Memories of Gracie Hutsell

When my parents found me, I was timid and shy. The other dog I lived with was bigger than I was, and we always fought. I went to my new home not knowing what to expect. I was happy to find out that there was two young boys that I could learn to love with all my heart, and a dad and mom that I learned to trust. For the first couple of months I kept my tail tucked in and stayed hid in my shell. I really couldn't believe my luck finding a family that spent so much time with me and even let me stay in the house! I finally let my guard down and became the dog I knew I could always be. My tail started wagging and I was so happy. My battle scars healed, I gained 20 pounds!,(don't let that out...LOL), and I was faithful to my new family. Well, Jesus called me home to be with him and to meet new friends at Rainbow Bridge. When I asked Jesus why I had to leave, He told me that He wanted me to know what it was like to have a loving family, but He needed my help at the bridge. I am so glad to have spent what little time I had with my mom, dad, & my brothers. They taught me what real love is. I'll be waiting at the bridge with my tail wagging.
Love,
Gracie
