Remember the day you came to me? One year old & so frightened. You hid everywhere. You remembered Kaylani your twin & stayed close to her. You got along fine with all the cats but wouldn't come to me. When Virginia visited you thought for sure she came to take you home But she packed up & went for the door. You howled, a heartbreaking howl as she left. When we closed the door, you quietly came & crawled into my lap. You never left! You were the most beautiful Burmese I'd ever seen and I began showing you months after. We traveled with Virginia, your breeder. You were a spay so you competed in the Alter class. You piled up points quickly and became a favorite with the judges. But we didn't go to a lot of shows so it took a few years until you made your GRAND Championship. What a day that was for us! And the day we made BEST Cat in an All Breed ring! YOU, my girl beating out Persians & judges cats! I was so proud of you! I miss you Gypsy! Your picture is in the hall. Your eyes look right at me every time I walk by. Take care of Kaylani. She was always so nutty. You were the serious one! And little Nickey! He broke my heart, too. Peanuts sleeps with me every nite. She misses you too! I'll love you always, my Gypsy girl! I was your 3rd home, your forever person! I'll see you again some day! My Gypsy Magic! Happy Sweet 16th birthday Gypsy Magic, Kaylani, too! I hope you both enjoy your cake! Maybe you & your friends will enjoy a special birthday dinner together. Auntie & I will be thinking of you and say a special birthday prayer on the 22nd. Be sure to share your birthday cake With the big ones and the small For there at Rainbow Bridge, There's enough to feed them all! Good Morning Gypsy Magic! It is raining here today. You had a surprise guest at your party last night didn't you? (Then again, you probably knew he was coming!) Be sure to show Anthony the best places to perch & meet his feathered friends. Tell him, "Mommy says, HI, GUYS" Hi Gyps! Nights are gettin cooler. Thought you might like a little blanket to snuggle up in. I kow my 3 Brownies are snuggled up together; you, Kaylani, & Nicholas. Miss you all. Mommy It is November now Gypsy. All the kitties are snuggling up close to the heat vents. Angie & Paco have been sleeping on my bed. I can see you curled up in a big ring with Kaylani & Nicholas. I cannot move my feet when Aaron is on the bed. He stretches across the whole thing. This would be our show time Gypsy. Remember that wintery day we went to Salisbury Beach? The carrier was so heavy carrying it up the stairs. I told you, you had to lose weight! When we got inside & I unloaded it, there was Kaylani inside with you!!! I was so shocked. Everyone laughed so hard. Good thing we had a double cage! She brought you good luck tho. You finished up your points for Grand Championship! The front windows of the hall looked out on the ocean. A crowd gathered & we watched the seals out on the ice flows. It was a great day for all of us - including Kaylani!!! The weather is turning colder, sweet Gypsy. It's almost that special time of year again. The doggies are wearing red shirts to look festive, and kitties are munching catnip & snuggling close to the heat vents. The Christmas tree is up & I put the star in the front window. I think of you and miss you as I gaze into the lights. Come & visit me soon, work your Magic my Gypsy girl! January 2007. Thank you finding Lonnie for me Gypsy. She really needed a forever home. She still needs to gain more trust in us. So look in on her & tell her we love her very much. I wish she would sleep on the bed with me, but the dogs are always there now and they won't share. Peanuts doesn't let that stop her. She's right up there on my pillow every night. She misses snuggling up with you, & Kaylani & Nickey. Please give me a sign & say Hello! Mommy 2/22/07 I am really tired of this winter Gypsy. I think it's time we got rid of the snow. I have a week off but the weather here is not too great. Can you please have a talk with Mandy & tell her to be a little nicer to our new kitty, Lonnie? She is the only one making trouble! Lonnie reminds me a lot of you. I think you have a lot of influence on her. I am so glad for that, Gyps. Have to run now, but I'll visit again soon! Hello, my Gypsy Magic! Sorry It took me a while to get back, but I think of you all the time. I'll never forget the love we shared; you, Kaylani, and Nicholas, too. I really miss you. I am so sure you sent me Lonnie. She's very happy here now. She has blossomed into a beautiful, round style kitty, just like you! With a bit of the comedian in her like Kaylani. I will come & see you again soon, Gyps, till then be happy girl! Aug.25, 07 Miss you gypsy girl. We're trying to take good care of your sister, Peanut Kandy. She's all I have left of you guys. She was very sick but is doing better now. She was 16 in July you know. I miss you & Kaylani sleeping on my feet. I miss you all so much. I really, really do my Gypsy girl! Sept. 21st,, 07. I can't believe another year has flown by. today has flown by also. Summer is over now, and a bit of sadness fills my heart, I am so thankful I still have Peanut Kandy here with me. i probably will never have another Brownie, or another Sheltie. I will miss you all forever. Maybe not ever have anothe Conure either..............We had a great time celebrating Auntie's birthday last night. It was so nice of Connie to take us to see Cahal in Dedham. 30 miles. I think Angie, Jenny, & Paco were a bit upset because we were so late getting home. Lonnie & Misty were also worried. We hung around with them all day today so they are okay now. It was sort of nice to be celebrating all the birthdays at once. I want to remember the day you were born, not the the day you left me for Rainbow Bridge. But I can never forget it really. No one is ever ready to say goodbye, I knew you were sick, but I was still hoping, same with Kaylani. But it was not to be. It feels so long ago now. Only 3 years for you in another 5 days? How can that be? Please love me always. I miss you Gypsy Magic! Hello Sweet Gypsy! I'm sorry I'm so late bringing you Christmas wishes! But you are in my thoughts always. Lonnie reminds me so much of you. But I still miss you and Kaylani so much. The weather here has been awful, but you know that. And we had our Christmas show last week, with Andy Cooney! I love his new song, The Keeper. I'm giving you some Christmas music. take care precious one. 1/14/08 Happy New Year Gypsy! Changing your music. and bringing back St. Francis. What a joy to know he is looking after you and all my ohter rainbow residents. Today we have snow. Quite a bit. Last Thursday my little Rikki Tikki Tavi flew off to join Anthony and all my other birdies at the Bridge. I know he was welcomed if fine style. I really miss seeing him in his pretty blue & white cage. Anthony Jr. is very lonely & sad. He is alone so much I will have to bring him a new friend. If I could leave his room open --- but you know I am afraid to trust all the kitties to behave. Remember when Anthony came to you, we had a service to remember Dan & they sang "You raised me up." and I saw Anthony fly over & sit on Dan's shoulder. Well, yesterday at church, the organist played "You raised me up." as the prelude. and I knew it telling me Rikki was safe up there at the bridge with you & his pal Anthony! So All is Right with the World! Love you always Gypsy and Kaylani, too! Hello Sweet Gypsy! Looking forward to spring after this hard winter. Have you looked in on our new birdie? His name is Riley. AJ likes him a lot. All the kitties here send you their love. tell everyone up there I love them forever. If I ever made mistakes with any of you (and I know I did) I am sorry and I wish I could change things. I tried to do my best, but I am only human, so please forgive me. Okay? I wish you were still here with me. Peanut Kandy says Hello. She turned 17 this month. Sometimes at night she cries for what seems no reason at all. I wonder if she is missing you & Kaylani, and Nikki. She sleeps on my head at nite or snuggled against Angie the Poodle. I know she misses those old days when the 4 of you used to curl up together at the foot of my bed. Lonnie reminds me so much of you. I never could have found her without your help. I hope you like your new flowers, sweet Gypsy Girl! I'll be back soon. Mommy is very stressed out Gypsy. But you know that Sweetie. Times like this I almost wish I could be with you. Then I remember I am still needed here. Lonnie was with us 2 yrs, as of yesterday. She makes new strides every day. One of the family now. I still miss you Gyps, and all the others, too. Life was more fun back then. sometimes it seems so long ago, and sometimes like only yesterday! If you happen to see ST. Francis put in a good word for me will you? Mom Jan.19.09 Good Morning my Gypsy. Well, all of you Burms are together again, with all the other old crew1 Seems like only yesterday you were all here with me. Peanut's crossing is so new. I am having a hard time believing it. She was my last link to all of you. I wish she would have stayed with me juat awhile longer but I think she wanted to be with you. take good care of her Gypsy! I will come back soon. Mommy July 28,09, It is a hot summer night here Gypsy. I'm sure you've noticed little Riley joined all of you at the Bridge. His stay here was not very long. A little over a year! I put Ricky in with AJ for company but they were not happy so she is now back in her old cage alone. There are no new kitties. But we adopted Aaliyah from the SPCA in Methuen. She is so cute. She has kept us busy. it has been a stressful 6 mos. since losing both PK and Jenny, and Auntie June; and almost losing cousin Bobby. So many big changes in our lives. I know you understand and put in a good word for us with St. Francis and with Jesus. You always stayed by my side in times of trouble, and I know you are still there for me. i will try to do better about visiting you and keeping your residency up to date. I love you Gypsy. Lonnie is the closest one to being like you but she doesn't come & sleep on my bed & stay close to me. None of the kitties do. Now I have Angie but only sometimes. I miss you my Gypsy girl!
