Memories of Maddie

Maddie originally came into the local animal shelter as a stray. They thought she was about eight years old. She was adopted, but was brought back after only eight months. The man had died and his wife had to go into a nursing home. I was lucky enough to have Maddie almost three years. She could be loud and could be obnoxious, but she was ever so gentle with little kids. She loved to eat and ride in the van best of all. Near the end, she never complained. I love her with all my heart. I will always miss her and remember her. Maddie you fought the good fight against the cancer in your nose. Your heart and spirit will always be with me.
