Memories of Madison

Madison was ever so graceful, she made prancing an art form. She was a shy, timid girl from the day she came into our lives. Yet she could be as mischievous and as playful as ever. From carrying a squirrel she picked up in the yard(did not hurt it) to slyly taking a biscuit out of a jacket pocket. She could smile and give you that soulful look all at the same time. Our mom passed several years ago and it was because of her and our father that we have a love for all animals especially the greythounds. Now Madison can take walks with both of them and enjoy each others' love, unconditionally. And oh what a beautiful greyhtound she was. White with bridle patch amongst a black girl and two other solid brindles. All stunning in their own way. Now she will be free of pain, able to prance with the best of them. And will keep our greys that have crossed the Bridge before her - Pepsi, Tobi, and Dakota - company until we all meet again, someday.
