Memories of MANDY

When I first met Mandy it was Love at first sight, she was the only chocolate puppy born to her parents. Mandy came out like a lion and pushed her sibling's away from me. We both knew at that very moment that I was to be her Mommy. I would never leave her side in good times and in bad times, and when she needed me to the very end I would love her and comfort her with all my love! Everyone who came across Mandy could not help but to adore her; she did not believe in biting but watch out...she would lick you silly! A funny thing happened one day, I bought an apple pie for my son-in-law, and when I walked out of the kitchen Mandy took the box from the top of the stove, she ate the apple pie. There was no evidence of the apple-pie, no crumbs laid on the floor next to the empty apple pie box; and what amazed me about her is that when I pointed to the empty box that laid on the floor...she looked at me and walked away as if she knew nothing about eating the apple pie. At that moment all I could do was laugh and tell the story to those who knew her. Mandy, gave me such joy and so many wonderful memories. When I gave Mandy a bath at home she would run around the living room and roll over and kick her legs up in the air...she was so happy...she loved her baths at home or when she went to the Pet Groomer. She loved to take care of others and she loved her Human Family, when I would inform her that we were about to have company she waited with suh patience by the window. When ever I cried or when I was at my worst, Mandy never left my side. She would wag her tell and would find ways to get my attention, she would demand her walks, playtime with her toys or time for her treats. There was only one thing that troubled Mandy and that was the Basement, she did not like to go down the basement, when we visit family or friends the basement was off limits to her. She became anxious at home when I was working downstair's in the basement; she would just stand at the door and Bark for me to come upstairs, the basement troubled her, she protected me at all times! Mandy was a wonderful creature, a gift from God and from the angels, she was sent to be from heaven, I was blessed and I thanked God for her everyday. Mandy has gone to the Rainbow Bridge, her Hips no longer hurt her, she cries no more...she is happy and and her body has been restored to good health. Mandy plays in the meadows with her new friend that she has met...she will be remenbered for all the good things and for all the love she has given to those who knew her! Mandy you are at peace now my Love, my Angel...I will always Love you, Mommy Dearest Mandy, How I miss you today on Easter Sunday, remembrance of years ago when I took you for a picture with the Easter Bunny...My how excited you would get...the anticipation of running to the Easter Bunny and how you Loved to take the picture. Mandy, I know that you are so happy as you run through the the green grass stopping to smell the beautiful colorful flowers. Mommy 05/09/10 Mandy, today is Mother's Day and I miss you so much. During the day every day I think about you and wish you were here by my side. The memories of the walks, when we played ball, giving you a bath, holding you..I will always cherish. I love you, Mommy 07/01/2010 Happy Summer Mandy, your new brother Rex is very happy to be home with me. Rex, came home from Spiro,Ok he is a Black & Gold Yorkshire Terrier. Rex keeps me very busy. I will always Love you,Mommy 09/22/2010 Happy Fall Mandy, how I miss you! I wish you happiness. Your brother Rex has been keeping me very busy. Rex is beginning to chew on my shoes just like you did when you were a puppy, I have to always remenber to hide my shoes from Rex. Mandy, I did not forget your B'Day, I just felt too sad to visit. I will always appreciate the thought of you. I Love you my baby, Mommy 11/25/2010 Happ Thanksgiving Mandy, I Miss you always. Rex is very playful and he gets into trouble many times. His a good boy and he adore me just as you did. Love you, Mommy 02/21/2011 Mandy, is been one year since we said Good-Bye, I miss you always! Everyday when I wake up I see your picture and I remember yester years. I hope you are happy visiting with Bill and Papi at the Rainbow Bridge as well as playing with your new found friends. Rex is still learning and I'm sure he would have loved you as much as I Love you. Lauren, Sammy, Sandy & Tom will never forget you for the wonderful and good dog that you were. Mandy Thank you for all your love, and our wonderful years. I Love you baby! Mum July 8, 2011 Hi Mandy, well since you moved to the rainbow bridge I've decided to leave the house. I've kept this home for you since you were such a big girl. You were my sunshine, my love. I will love you always. There are times I compare you to Rex, yet he is still a puppy. learning as you did and look how great you turned out to be! Have a wonderful summer running after the butterflies and the birds and also playing with your new found friend. Love always Mum October 18, 2011 Happy Fall Mandy, how I miss you. By the way I'm home again! Your picture was still hanging on the kitchen wall right next to the fridge. The mums are growing so beautiful, in your spot where you wanted your memory to be. Rex is growing up very strong & smart. I do know that if you were to meet him, you would love him & protect him as much as I do. Lauren & Samantha miss you and love you always. Is snowing out tonight & I thought of you. You so loved the snow, running, rolling in the snow; what fun you had. Well I've missed you everyday. I love you alway, Mommy February 21, 2013 Hi Mandy, You will always be missed by all who knew you. Be Happy and Safe my Love!
