Memories of Milo

Mr. Milo came to us in September 2001 from the Montgomery County, Maryland Humane Society. He was 4 and it was his second time there. He was a beautiful and handsome dog. We took him for a walk and he licked my hand. That was it! He was ours. He had had a big patch of black fur on his side in the shape of a heart. It turned out he really had an enlarged heart. He was a Border Collie & Jack Russell mix -- a Border/Jack. He had a wonderful spirit and had many friends who miss him greatly especially our "granddog" Rosie who loved him. His enlarged heart finally ran out. He was 13. He was just wonderful! Fly high Mr. Milo, Your spirit is free! You'll always be in our hearts, You'll always be here with me.
