Memories of Mistie

Mistie, You were our second pet. But in our hearts second to none. You were our comfort, our solice you asked nothing in return but to be petted. I will miss our morning date at the breakfast table , you sitting at my feet while I had breakfast and while I hand fed you treats. I will miss even the little things that you did, the noise your tags made when you walked around your pondorosa. Scratching at the door with little patients. Hitting your water dish and makeing a mess to let me know you wanted cold water. To some these things may seem trivial to me they were the world and will be dearly missed. You let me hold you and cuddle you on your last car ride we talked and I told you it was time to go be with Muffin. Your sad eyes told me you were tired and that you understood me. Look over to your right Mistie I see Muffin waiting to play with you. Go now and run to her. Play once again with that unbroken spirit you always had. You will be missed every minute of every day of the rest of our lives. You came to us 12 years ago but those years weren't long enough. I thank you for every minute of pleasure you gave to us.You wrapped your tail around our hearts to show us your love. There is a special chamber of my heart devoted to you and your wonderful memories. I can't say good bye to you I can only say Adeiu. Until we meet again.
