Memories of Misty
| Our Sweet Misteroo, the very first time I saw you I knew you were the one for us. There was something in those big beautiful green eyes. You had the most expressive eyes I've ever seen and we will miss those very special looks. We will also miss those special tilts of the head when we asked for a kiss. When you were first diagnosed with kidney failure at only 8 years old we thought it had to be a mistake - you were too young and healthy and so very beautiful. You got sick so fast and as you got weaker we tried to help by giving you fluids and medicine. Your Daddy especially felt very guilty about thinking he was hurting you, but we thought we were doing the right thing. I hope you know how much we loved you and only wanted to make you feel better. I know you are now forever stretched out in the sunlight - you're very favorite thing. Hugs and kisses always. |
