Memories of Moonshine
| You were a child of summer. Your joy was chasing lizards, grasshoppers and yes even hummingbirds. Your summers were spent laying in the catnip or the fern. Things you loved best: Milk...you always had to be sure you bowl was filled at night so you could have it later as a snack.... Raw Hamburger...you would sit out by the barbeque when you knew hamburger would be there........... Sleeping in the shade.......... Getting a Tummy Rub in the sun.....You would fall on your back hit your head on the patio and wait for a rub.... I loved best rubbing your fur in my face and saying "Moons do you know how much I love You? I love you a thousand ways" It is 9 years since you went to the Bridge. Since then we also lost Boo and Sox... "Time passes so quick.The years all run together now.....and I first held you as a baby 29 years ago...." |
