WE LOVE YOU, MARCOS & LYDIA. Story about Negrita as told by Blanquita. Hi everyone. My name is Blanquita (Whitey in English, but my adoptive parents prefer to call me Blanquita in Spanish) I was born Christmas Day, December 25, 2005 in Palatine, Illinois, I believe now my Creator made me as a special gift sent from heaven for someone special but I did'nt know what until something strange happened to me the other day. I am White like a snowflake, I don't have a single gray, black or any other color hair. Even my whiskers are White. I was one of 9 Kittens my mommy had. I was born with one Blue eye & one Green eye. Most of my brothers and sisters got adopted but I was left behind because no one wanted to adopt me because they said I was bad luck. My mommy put me up for adoption online at livedeal.com but time went by and most of my brothers and sisters got adopted but nobody wanted me. The listing for adoption expired March 22, 2006 and I was left behind, with 2 of my brothers and sisters. I don't know if it was destiny, or what, but I heard that that very same day a little 7 months old kitten named Negrita (that means Blackie, for those of you non-spanish speaking readers) passed over the Rainbow Bridge ( if you don't know what Rainbow Bridge is go to rainbowbridge.com and find out. I heard her parents were crushed with sadness because Negrita was full of life, joy and very playful, plus she had beautiful emerald green eyes. She was completely Black and just as I don't have any black hairs, she didn't have any white hairs. Anyway I kept hearing how sad her parents were but I was worry that my online listing was expiring and I was not going to get adopted. That night the most beautiful, little, black kitty angel with emerald green eyes that I have ever seen appeared to me and told me all this nice, great stories about her parents and how loving and caring they were and how even when she was alive but got very sick from cancer in all her main organs in her little body and other complications they took care of her, cleaned her when she could no longer use her litter box and she pee & pup on herself. Her mommy and daddy would gently and lovingly clean her a few times a day, and hand fed her, and gave her medicine and did everything they could for her. Her daddy took off from work every 3 hours just to go check on her. This little black kitty angel told me how her daddy used to play with her and how nice, comfy and warm his lap was and how her mommy also cared and worry about her. I was getting to get jealous because I had not been adopted and I wanted a mom and dad like them. Oh, I was getting good care from my present mommy and daddy but I knew they wanted to give me up for adoption not because they didn't love me but they had other cats to take care of. And then this little, black kitten angel with green eyes told me she was Negrita and she was looking for someone to love her mom and dad and give them love and make them happy again because her daddy & mommy were always crying and it made her sad to see them like that. Daddy cried all the time, at work, in his car, at home and everywhere in the house he would remember her and tears came running down his cheeks. So Negrita made a deal with me. She said she would help me get adopted by her mom and dad but that I was to love them like she did. I was ecstatic, finally I was going to have a permanent mom and dad and another warm, comfy lap. Negrita said something about writing a letter to his mom and dad that I was going to deliver and that I would have to write something for them too. Here is what Negrita wrote for me to take to her Mom & Dad "Hi Papi, it's me Negrita. I miss you and mommy so much. I see you crying. Please don't be sad, I don't like to see you cry. Guess what? I can run around and jump and nothing hurts anymore here at Rainbow Bridge. I have lots of friends and its very nice up here. I met Molly, Trixie, an many other furry friends and they are showing me the ropes. The clouds aren't as comfy as my spot on the sofa between your legs, but I am really happy. I have a surprise for you. I am sending you a little white Angel from heaven to keep you company and make you smile. Well Papi, I will miss you and mommy. You gave me a great home and love that I will remember forever. Those were the best seven months I could have ever wished for. You took such good care of me, I will be with you every day. I have great stories to tell my friends here. They are so jealous. Thank you for being a wonderful caring dad. I love you today and always. I Love you both, " Negrita" Well this is what I wrote. I was confused, I wasn't sure if I was really going to get adopted but I wrote this anyway just to be prepared, miracles do happen they say and this was a black, kitty angel with emerald green eyes talking to me. So I had to believe. I wrote: "Hi, you must be my new dad. My sister Negrita, tells me you're the best dad in the whole world. Nobody wanted to adopt me. They said I was bad luck because I have one green eye and one blue eye. But "Negrita" says I am Special and PURR-fect and one of my eyes is green so you can always see her when you look into my eye. I know I can never replace her but I hope I can make you happy. I have a lot of LOVE to give. I love to play and I am really curious, Oh, and love to be scratched and tickled. Negrita has told me so much about you. I can't wait to move in -- Where do I sleep? Oh, and I can't forget, I love to chase pens. " After this I went to sleep and when I woke up I didn't know if I had had a dream or what. But then the telephone rang and .... "NEGRITA", THE EMERALD GREEN EYES KITTY ANGEL HAD MADE THE MIRACLE POSSIBLE, I WAS GOING TO GET ADOPTED AND LOVE HER "PARENTS" AS MUCH AS SHE DID.
