Memories of Niko

Niko, the first day without you is just so terrible. We love and miss you so much. You were not only our dog, you were our "baby". You were the kindest, most gentle dog we have ever seen. I keep wanting to see you walk out of the kitchen or out of the bedroom again. It is just so lonely here without you. Your bright smile really did brighten up our lives. You have enriched our lives so much. I'm sure Pringles was waiting to welcome you to Rainbow Bridge. The only consolation we have is that you are young again, running around and playing with all of your new friends. You may be physically gone from our lives, but you will never be gone from our hearts. When you left us, you took a part of us with you. Our home and our lives will never be the same. You can never be replaced, we are not even going to try. You are truly the one and only. I can't help but think of all the good times you had while you were here. Swimming in the pool was your favorite thing to do. Barking at anyone and everyone was your second favorite. Little did they know, all you wanted to do was give them a kiss! Everyone loved you. Julianna was looking for you today. We told her that you went to doggie heaven and are at Rainbow Bridge now. We know we will see you again. Until then, know that we love you and miss you so very much.
