Memories of Peanut

Our Peanut, was an incredible ball of fire. She loved us unconditionally. Babydo, Peaster, My Baby Girl, Lucy, many names for this incredibly warm and faithful little girl. She was a hunter, a lover, a friend and loved by many. Loyal and protective of those she loved. Her best friend is Matty Robinson, aka "Charlie Brown" a big burly Golden Retriever. They loved to go on walks together and play. Matty's Mom called her Lucy (Peanut's), as that was her personality. Barely 6 inches high, she acted like the queen of the world with her strutting and attitude. She also loved to play with Pooh Bear Walker, a white fur ball of fun and Skye, who left us last year. She loved to sit on her Daddy's lap and giving her Mommy kisses. She was loyal beyond belief and more protective than any army. Her human sisters were Shannon and Kim. She never got to meet her human nephew Colton, but we will tell him about her. She loved to roll in leaves, tunnel through snow and go on long, long walks, smelling flowers, and chasing rabbits and squirrels. She could make you laugh with her facial expressions, and her long nose was always sniffing around, usually for food or treats. She had a bark that could be heard for miles. She was a real fighter and only until we told her it was ok to go, did she allow herself to be released from the pain that had been with her for two months. Our hearts are broken as she is irreplaceable. One of a kind she was. Her red coat glistened in the sunlight; her little ears would flap when she ran, you could drown in her warm brown eyes, so full of love. She loved to play with Bun-Bun and roll around. Put carpet under her little feet and she was faster than a rocket. Give her mommy's socks or sneakers and she was happy as a clam in mud. She loved sunbathing, turning ever so often, as if to even out her tan. Scrambled eggs and peanut butter were hits on her "occasional snack menu." Our baby girl is now at peace and running with her pals and those awaiting her. Miss Ashley Maher, Skye Hunter, Cameo Lady Maher and Peanut the first. We pray they guide her and keep her safe. We will be with you someday again Pea, we promise. We will love you forever and a day. We pray you have found friends to play with and that you are not too sad. Pea, you loved us so completely without asking anything in return. We just are at a loss. You brightened our days. You kept us on time. You had such a special way. Peepers, we pray, your pain has vanished and that you can once again walk and run, like you used to. Run Peaster run, fast and hard. We love you and miss you, Mommy and Daddy 10/13/2010 Hello darling Pea, Your Daddy and I miss you so much we just are at a complete an utter loss. I went to work today and when I came home, I expected your run down the hall and into my arms for kisses and hugs...Tears of sheer desperation and utter sadness. Daddy had to chase away the crows, he cried, because that was your job. Mommy came home at 5:00 and it broke my heart, not to have our own little time clock, not there asking for your dinner or running to give me your kisses. The Brown truck came by at 6 and Daddy remarked how you learned that the UPS truck was allowed in the neighborhood and it was ok. A plane went over head a minute ago and Daddy said to you, it's just a plane... You my darling baby girl have left a void in our hearts. Oceans of tears have fallen and I'm sure an ocean more will come. We pray you are no longer in pain and that you are running free with Ashers, Skye and Peanut the 1st. I went to our spot near the maple tree and talked to you tonight, did you hear me? Shannon called and she misses you and loves you so much. She says that she hopes you and Ashley are going to be fast friends. Pea, behave yourself...Don't be to bossy. You know how you can be. Compromise honey. Darling Pea, I will leave you now, but will visit again tomorrow. Please know how much you are loved and missed by all those, whose life you touched, brightened, and embraced. Good Night Baby Girl. Love Mommy and Daddy xoxoxo 10/14/10 Hello Pea, Daddy and Mommy hope you are playing up a storm! The leaves are blowing and it's a bit cooler here today. We remember how you loved to bury your little nose into the leaves, what a little character! We miss our little time clock; it seems you were the one to keep us on time for all things Pea. The silence is deafening here. How we wish your bark was echoing throughout the house. We hope you have made many new friends. Remember Pea, to keep those ears of yours down, and your nose up. We love you our little girl and we now you are now healthy and walking and running again. Dr. Cathy emailed today to check on your Mom and Dad, which was so kind of her. Well, Peaster, we will leave you to play, remember bed at 11:00, you need your rest. With love, Daddy and Mommy 10/15/10 Hello Peepers, It sure is quiet here. Daddy and Mommy see you everywhere. Mommy hung the photos of you and Daddy today. Miss Pat and Matty walked with Mommy today. Mr. Matt's is sad that you are not with us. If you could, drop by and give the big guy a Peanut kiss. Peanut kisses are the best. You came home to us today, Pea. Your pretty rosewood box with the inscription we wrote. We put you on the fireplace with that springtime photo of you baby girl. Your home! Hope you are making loads of new friends Pea, and running around barking and smiling. So many people have written, many we don't even know...You touched everyone's life, Peanut. Go to bed at a decent hour, tuck in with Bun-bun and bear, and know that you will live forever in Daddy's and Mommy's hearts, as well as all your friends here. We love you Pea, and you will live forever in our hearts. Love, Daddy and Mommy 10/16/10 Hello our darling girl, Daddy and Mommy took a ride on the Parkway and quietly reflected on our girl. You would have enjoyed the ride, dear Peanut. When we arrived home, we were surprised to see a "Golden" rose bush on the front porch. It was from Miss Pat, Mr. Dave and your dear Matty. Miss Pat said that it was yours to look out upon from your window, "Like Miss Pea, front and center." Wasn't that just like the Robinsons to do something so nice and in your honor. Baby girl you are so missed by all of us here. We know healing will take place; perhaps we just aren't ready yet. We are remembering your quirks with more smiles than tears, so perhaps the healing is taking place. We are taking baby steps, Peaster. We hope you are running and having yourself a grand time Peepers. Give Bun-bun and bear a hug from Mommy and Daddy. Go to bed at a decent hour Pea. Running, playing and eating... Mommy had an Open House and Daddy did things at home. We miss you darling baby girl, but you know that don't you. We will talk to you again soon. Pea, we pray that you are well and having a wonderful time. Walked with your beau, Charlie and Miss Pat today. Charlie has Blue Dog, and Mr. Dave named her, Lucy Blue, Matty carries her around. You left a whole in his heart also. If you have a moment, would you let him know you are ok. He worries about you Pea. As do Mr. Dave and Miss Pat. You, our darling baby girl, keep touching everyone's lives. Daddy and I are doing ok. The silence is deafening at times. Peanut, you run, play, and keep a watchful eye on us. Your Daddy misses you something fierce. You are thought of every minute of every day. We love you our proud Miss Pea, and miss you. You will reside in our hearts and memories forever and a day. Hugs and Kisses, Daddy and Mommy Hello Little Girl, We still can't believe you are not with us. Daddy and Mommy planted the yellow rose that Mr. Dave, Miss Pat and Matty brought us. Yellow was always your favorite colour. So Peepers, it's planted, watered and ready to grow strong and proud. We've had rain today, but the sun is shining currently. You are sitting proudly on the mantle and we have two of your photos up next to you looking down and protecting your Daddy and Mommy, as you always have. We miss you Pea, each and every day. Most of the leaves are now down and we remember you playing in the leaves and chasing the falling ones. Your squirrels are busy gathering acorns and walnuts. The bears are now scarce; however the coyotes and foxes have been making their presence known. We miss you with every breath we take, and pray that you are running around and taking charge. Check on Daddy Babydoo, he needs to know you are ok. We miss you Pea, every minute of every day. We love you, Daddy and Mommy Hi Pea, It's been a busy few weeks. Thanksgiving has come and gone. Master Colton came with his Mummy and Daddy and Kim came also. We so wanted you to know Colton, Pea. You would have been fast friends we are sure. Christmas is just weeks away and that makes your absence even more painful. We miss you Pea. It snowed today, remember how you played in the snow Pea? We do. You loved life so very much. I can see you playing and tunneling through it. Matty came down to make sure we were ok. He played with Daddy. We miss you so very much Peanut. Miss Pat remarked that if you were to play today, we would only see your ears flopping and perhaps your tail. Pea, wish you would "talk" to us. You are missed and loved so very much. The white squirrel is hanging around more, wonder what that means? I've been busy at work as has Daddy. Each passing day we think about you. We hope that you are safe and know that we will never stop loving you. Love, Mom and Daddy Peeps September is here, which means the Apple Festival and the multitude of people it brings. I have to work this weekend, but working means I let you be for a while. Miss Pat and Matty are doing well, Mr. Dave is holding on. With September here Pee, the leaves will start falling. We remember how you loved to play in the leaves. Goodness Pea, I miss you. Daddy remarked how your rose bush just keeps growing and flowering, it's like you are sending messages from heaven. We love you, Daddy and Mommy Peanut Guess who made listing and selling agent for August - Yep, your Mommy. Working makes the days without you just a little bit easier. Clients have a small dog that seems to like me, he is sweet, but isn't a Peepers.... Cut your roses and they are blooming again, thank you Peeps. We love you, Daddy and Mommy Peepers - More than half way through September. I am dreading October. You, your memories seem very fresh and raw. We pray you are happy our little girl. Gosh we miss you. Daddy cut some red roses for you. We love you, Daddy and Mommy Our darling Peanut, We can hardly believe it's been one year today that you left us. I'm sure our tears have formed another ocean. Pea you were so loved, still are. You are irreplaceable. Oh Pea, we miss you so. We pray you are having the time of your new life. I look at your daddy when he doesn't see as he is looking at your photos, the immense sadness is heartbreaking. Pea, you were our special angel, a once in a lifetime meeting of souls. You brought such happiness into our lives, we know we must go on, we know that you are watching us, we know you miss us too. We will see you again Pea. We will feel your sweet kisses and warmth again. But for now darling girl, we know we must wait. We looked for answers high and low and we must accept that God needed you more than he thought we did. So we hope you are doing a good job at whatever duties you have been assigned. Peanut, never forget us, as we will never forget you. We miss you with every breath we take. We love you so very much.
