Memories of Pookie Bear

I got Pookie when I was going to the police academy in 1990. He has been my comforter for 15 years. Through the loss of my infant daughter and my mother, Pookie has been there for me. Through life threatening situations at work and in life, he has been my constant companion. Pookster, always knew when my wife or I had a pressing emotional or spiritual need. Always the comforter, he would see to returning us to happiness. I miss him very much and pray that he is with God now. Bubba Bear, you are missed every day!!!! Muffin and Brie miss their big brother. December 5, 2005- Marcia and I had to put Puppy down. He was almost 16 years old. Pookie now has his long time companion with him. Take good care of Puppy, Bubba Bear. Make sure he sees Grandma. Love you both very much. January 14, 2006-Well the holiday's are over. It was lonely without Pookie. We placed Christmas wreathes on the boys graves. Almost five months have passed since Pookie died. I think about him everyday. He was truly a wonderful dog.
