Memories of Princess Leia

Princess Leia was the matriarch of our family of kitties, which numbered 5, for many years. We miss her very, very much.
She left no doubt in the other kits that she was the Ruler. Leia was appalled when Bandit came to live in her domain and touched his nose to hers. Her look clearly said, "My nose, my royal nose, he touched my royal nose"! She chased him all over the house, smacking him as she went.
Leia had hopeless tangles in her fur that usually required an annual shaving of her back half. Looking like a French Poodle was not her idea of fun, and she was extremely sensitive about it. So we tried not to laugh inappropriately at her appearance during these trying times for her.
Leia was extremely skilled at cleaning BBQ after a cookout, practically licking the finish off the tongs. She was also our consistent little cuddler at night.
Our Princess Leia leaves a big empty spot in our hearts.
We will always remember you with love, Princess Leia.
