Memories of Rachel

Dear Rachel, Although you were only with us a short time, you will never be forgotten. You had a sad start to life and thanks to 2 wonderful people they saved you from an early passing. They in turn let us have the happiness and love of your companionship in the last 3 1/2 years of your life. You were the best dog anyone could have ever asked for. You knew that you were loved in your final years by daddy and I and so many others. You touched our lives more than you will ever know. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think about you and I still cry. You would have loved the new house we live in now, as we have a big backyard that you would have played in, but sadly you passed 3 weeks before we moved. Every Summer since we have been here there is always a white butterfly that flutters around. I have always believed that God sends loved ones back to us in one form or another and you were sent back to us as a butterfly. This year you came back to us in your colors of black and white, as there was a white butterfly with specks of black. I know you are happy at The Rainbow Bridge and feel all better now. I know you and your loving personality and must have made lots of new friends by now. You are also up there with Grandma and Grandpa now and the Grandma that you knew is there as well now. I know you are in good hands until I am with you again where we will never be parted again. Just know Chewey that your love and memories live with us forever. WE LOVE YOU and never forget that <3 xoxoxo
