Memories of Reggie

Reggie was a senior rescue who was probably 11 when he was dumped at the pound. He with me for only a short while, but I will miss him for ever. He taught me what love was. He bonded with me from day one and never was a problem. My two and a half years with him was the best I could have ever prayed for! Please don't hesitate to adopt a senior dog and if you can send a donation to the Bowling Green KY shelter in honor of Reggie. I love you Reggie and always will! 12/11/2008 Reggie...I hope Becky has found you and the two of you are together. I know she loved you so much and being the love you were you loved her. Please take care of my little white dog until I can be there to take care of all of you. I miss you Dude! 6/29/2009 Reggie...I sooo miss you! I hope you are taking care of Becky...she needs it! Brandy too. Every Dog . . . Every dog must have a soul, somewhere deep inside Where all his hurts and grievances are buried with his pride. Where he decides the good and bad, the wrong way from the right, And where his judgment carefully is hidden from our sight. A dog must have a secret place, where every thought abides, A sort of close acquaintance that he trusts in and confides. And when accused unjustly for himself, He cannot speak, Rebuked, He finds within his soul, the comfort he must seek. He'll love, tho' he is unloved, and he'll serve tho' badly used, And one kind word will wipe away the times when he's abused.
