Memories of Riley

Riley, what a beautiful soul you are. Gentle and loving and everyone's friend. You spent nine years of your life on a heavy chain with little companionship in freezing upstate New York until animal control seized you you just before Christmas and put you in a horrible shelter. Thankfully, Dalmatian rescue discovered you, covered from head to toe in feces and urine, while at the shelter because of a tip about another Dal. My sweet Riley soaked up all the affection he could get at our house! I believe Ditto sent you to me because I was so heart broken after his passing. We shared four wonderful years together. I miss you so much, Riley, and it is so painful not see your smiling face greeting me every day.. You brought love and sunshine to me every day and you were quite a character. You were an amazing dog and I love you forever. It has been one year without you, Little Buddy. I miss you so much and how I wish I could hug you again.
