Memories of ROSIE MAY

Rosie was taken from us early with stomach cancer. But she will be in our hearts forever. She would greet you with a light meow and squint her large green eyes as well. She was a quiet motherly type of girl.Her favorite toy was a pink sponge ball-even when there were other colors available she would only pick the pink one. 2-3x day for 10 years I wiped her eyes with a tissue beacuse she had no tear ducts , so some said she looked like she was crying. Also she had feline herpes, and had to wipe her nose often as well-sneezed alot. She was given up for adoption 2x- noone wanted her it seemed. I would take her back in a heatbeat and do all I did and more if it were possible.But she I pray is over her afflictions of this world. She never showed much pain until the very end. On the night of her passing, a friend had a dream of her. In the dream he was at our place playing with her. He was trying to call us to let us know she was fine and wondered why we thought she was sick.When I told him she passed that morning at 2am he knew for sure it was a sign. Many other small signs I had that comforted me as well within days of her passing- gives me hope that there just may be such a place as a Rainbow Bridge.
