It has been twelve years since you left our arms and winged your way to the Rainbow Bridge. We still speak of you, your sweet and loving manners, your funny little tricks and quirks, how the squirrels made you run and bark like crazy, how you would crawl into the laundry basket to rest when we were away. Whenever I climb the stairs, I always look up to see if you are peeking over the top stair to look down at me. I am comforted with the thought that you ARE looking after us from the meadow and the Rainbow Bridge. You were so full of love for Dad and I ... know that we remember you. We know you were a gift, a blessing in our lives. Oh how many kisses and hugs we are banking for the day we cross over to where you are.
On the anniversary of your passing, my sister's sweetheart, Puma, crossed over. It seemed such a coincidence that you would have the same anniversary. Give him a "high five!" if you see him.
