|Rusty was our special guy. He loved to catch frisbees and tennis balls and was a special brother to his sister Ginger Snap. Some of his happiest times were the rides to New Jersey to visit his Aunt and Uncle and romp with his lab cousins Megan Fudge and Emily Anne, or playing with Marmelade his favorite Golden Retriever buddy. Aunt CeCe lovingly called him Jimmy Durante dog because his snout was longer than most. But he didn't care, and would give her big kisses just the same. Nothing was more fun than bath time on a hot day. Fighting with that water hose and rolling in the grass just made his day. Who can forget the fun rides to New Jersey to celebrate Thanksgiving with the family? Rusty certainly was a vocal member of the "Loud Family". The guard post at the front window is not the same without Rusty and Ginger keeping vigil. We will miss him. He crossed over Rainbow Bridge on 02/03/2003 surrounded by his loving family and Dr. Wagner his friend and vet. 5 years have passed since we last held you and said goodbye. You are always in our thoughts! Your Aunt CeCe and your Grandma Joy are now with you. Take care of them. Love Dad Dear Rusty, Ginger Snap traveled to the bridge on Friday, 6/27/2008. Please look out for her as you are her older brother. Show her that she can run and play like a puppy again. Mom and Dad will join you in time. Love Dad Rusty, Nearly 7 years have gone by since you departed. We still think of you often and have pictures of you on my desk at work. We miss playing frisbee and catch like only you could do. Hope you are running and jumping again like a puppy. Your knee should be like it was when you were a pup. Love Dad 2/3/2010 I can't believe 7 years have passed without you. I hope you are out of pain and enjoying your time at the bridge with your sister Ginger and Dusty. 1/24/11 Another year has gone by without you. You have a new sister. Roxy. She is a rescue from DVGRR. You would love her as she is feisty and playful. Another one who loves to catch and retrieve. Uncle Harvey is now with you at the Bridge. Love Dad We miss you snuggling in my lap and playing ball with me. Love Dad 1/21/13 It is hard to believe that you left us 10 years ago next month. I still miss our frisbee sessions in the front yard. I look at your picture and it is like you are still here. You were a wonderful dog and good companion. We miss you. Love Dad Mocha Bailey traveled to the bridge on 1/9/2015. He was your brother and lived a good life for almost 12 years. Please greet him and show him around. You can help him adjust to his new life as you wait for mom and I. We miss all our fur babies. Love Dad|
