"We have walked together in the shadow of a rainbow." Our Sweet "Snow Pea"! You came to live with your Dad when you were only eight weeks old in 1996!! I met you when you were just a little over a year old and you and your Dad won my heart!! You were always the first one to the door to greet me when I came to visit!! Then when your Dad and I got married, you inherited three older sisters whom you welcomed and loved dearly!! You did not mind NOT being the only child!! You gave our lives so much LOVE and so much JOY!! You were so sweet and mischievous, but always SWEET!! You loved going to work with Dad every day and you loved exploring the outdoors at home with your sisters!! Then as each of your older sisters became old and weary, you were always there for them trying to help and encourage!! When they had all gone on to the Bridge and left us behind, we got you a new baby sister, Lilly, whom you also loved and adored!! You were the very best sister and the very best frend EVER!! You wrapped your tail around our hearts and you have left the sweetest paw prints on our hearts!! Your sweet memory will live on FOREVER in our hearts!! We made your new home at Rainbows Bridge in the meadow during your favorite season of cool weather and flowers blooming, Spring. I know that you are well and happy now and that all of your sisters and your cousins have found you there to welcome you and make you feel at home. We miss you more than you will ever know, our sweet Sophie!! We will see you again when we arrive at the Bridge!! Until then, have sweet baby pookie dreams, sweet girl, and remember that we love you ALWAYS and FOREVER!! Fly Home Angel. Sophie was cremated and now rests at home in the loving arms of her family.
