Some of different names,,,,,,,,,,
"The Rainbow Bridge"
"Ode to Beau", or "Treat Me Kindly Friend"
I find little solice in them ............. it only reminds me of what i had to "do in the end",,,,,,,
I know it was.... the "right" 'thing'. ( To allow you an
easy release; with me by your side:)
Whispering that you were a "good dog", and much loved,stroking you,and telling you 'it was OK for you go'.
(And. Hopefully, we will all meet again.)
For to have you suffer, or struggle with life here on earth,
and kept you here; (oh, how I hope the right decision was made)
would have been for me,....( I had to make that decision to
"let you go" = but oh, how painful,..... still);
not for you ........... you could not enjoy life anymore,..
you were having trouble. getting up and standing, much less
walking,... the runnung and playing that was once so enjoyed,
had become impossible for you. I am sure you missed such, but ..
ambling around the yard you still enjoyed, til the last days..
then you could no longer stand steady, and after falling -
you looked at me with "that look" - that said -- "this is
enough". "I don't want to to continue"...............
I knew........It was time............ I miss you,,,,,,, greatly.
Rest easy, and run free......... again. Til me meet again friend.
