As I watched the doctor
Take your red collar
Off your lifeless body
She handed it to me and said
Im so, so very sorry
But before when you went,
I knew your soul was leaving
As you smiled at me and mommy
I said good bye
As I walked away
I listened to the cart
Go back through the doors
And couldnt feel anything but pain and sorrow
I hoped to see you again
I know I will
You were much to young
I watched a whole life pass
From beginning to end
You were kinda like my best friend
